How to make fresh flowers last longer?

• Clean the Vase: First, wash your vase with warm, soapy water. This will kill any bacteria that could shorten your flowers’ lifespan.
• Trim the Stems: Grab a sharp, clean pair of scissors and cut the stems at a diagonal angle. This small trick helps increase the surface area for water absorption.
• Remove Foliage: Remember to remove any leaves that will end up submerged in the water. These can decay and make the water less healthy for your flowers.
• Use Lukewarm Water: Fill your vase with lukewarm water. Cold water can shock your flowers!
• Add Flower Food: If you have a flower food packet, use it. Alternatively, you can whip up a homemade mix with two tablespoons of sugar and one teaspoon of bleach for every quart of water.
• Change the Water Regularly: It's a good idea to replace the water every 2-3 days. This helps keep nasty bacteria at bay.
• Recut the Stems: Give those stems a fresh cut every few days to keep the water flowing.

How To Clean Artificial Flowers:

• Set a Schedule for Cleaning: We recommend that you dust them weekly or biweekly to keep dirt from building up.
• Use a Soft, Dry Cloth or Fabric Duster: The best way to clean and freshen up artificial florals is by gently wiping them with a microfiber cloth. You may also use a fabric duster as an alternative.
• Use a Soft-Bristle Paintbrush: Start brushing surfaces from the top to remove any dirt. If your plants are pre-lit, take care not to tug on or remove the light strings.
• Avoid Water or Chemicals: Do not wash your flowers or apply chemicals such as silk flower cleaning sprays or artificial plant cleaners. Using these may damage your faux flowers or dissolve binding agents that hold the components together.
• Clean the Water Illusion: Some flower arrangements come with an acrylic water illusion. Use a microfiber cloth to clean the flowers and stems first, then wipe the acrylic surface. Wrap the microfiber cloth around a narrow rod, like a pencil or chopstick, to reach small spots.
